Salesforce Agentforce Architect (Public Sector)

The role

You will join a Salesforce architecture and innovation team working with public sector clients, acting as a strategic adviser and squad lead for agentic AI solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will identify and shape use cases that bring value to clients, then lead teams of business analysts, user researchers, Agentforce developers and testers to deliver them, including product demonstrations to the client. You will work in a hybrid pattern with one day in the client's London office.

What you'll be doing

• Acting as the go-to Salesforce expert for key stakeholders, advising on platform capabilities, architecture patterns and best practice, with a focus on Agentforce
• Turning complex business and technical requirements into scalable, well-architected solutions using Agentforce, Data 360 (Data Cloud), OmniStudio, Public Sector Solutions and Service Cloud
• Supporting solution delivery, including prompt engineering and traditional Salesforce development, and acting as the escalation point for your development team
• Identifying and managing solution risks, technical debt and design assumptions
• Building strong relationships with executive teams, project managers and technical leads
• Supporting pre-sales, including target architectures, security strategies, integration approaches and roadmaps
• Mentoring teams and contributing to knowledge sharing and thought leadership
• Reviewing the work of developers in your team to make sure it follows best practice and your design

What you must have

• 15+ years of experience in consulting and architecture roles, with a track record of leading digital transformation in the public sector
• A deep understanding of the Salesforce platform with a focus on Agentforce, including at least three of: Service Cloud, Data 360 (Data Cloud), Public Sector Solutions, OmniStudio or other Salesforce Industries solutions, and Service Cloud Voice
• The ability to give clear recommendations on solution approaches, architecture patterns and design trade-offs, and to quality-assure design artefacts
• Familiarity with design governance, including High-Level Designs, Design Decision Logs and Technical Debt registers
• An understanding of the Salesforce security model (roles, profiles, sharing rules) and of GDPR and data residency
• End-to-end Salesforce implementation experience (hands-on development is a plus)
• Experience of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall, and of source-driven DevOps with Git and CI/CD
• Strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills, including leading design sessions with senior stakeholders
• Willing and eligible to hold UK government security clearance (SC)
• Desirable: Salesforce certifications such as Agentforce Specialist, Data Cloud Consultant, Application Architect or Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional, and experience of unlocked packages
