Walter Everett Ltd (“we”, “us”) is a data controller for the personal information you provide when you apply for a role through this site, or otherwise contact us.

What we collect

When you apply for a role, we collect your name, email address, home address, phone number (if provided), your CV, and any message you choose to include. If you contact us directly, we hold whatever information you send us.

Your home address is collected because UK employment agency regulations require us to keep this on record - see GOV.UK for detail.

Why we collect it

To assess your application, contact you about roles, and, where you consent, to consider you for other suitable opportunities.

Who we share it with

As a recruitment agency, putting you forward to a hiring client is the core of our service - we don't do that without your explicit agreement each time. When we do, we may share your identity, address, contact details, employment history, salary expectations, notice period, interview availability, right-to-work information, and CV with that client. Full detail on this authorisation is in our Work Seeker Terms. Outside of this, we don't sell your data or share it with any other third party without your explicit consent.

How long we keep it

We retain candidate data for as long as reasonably needed to provide our recruitment service, and no longer than necessary. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, send us a message. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Security

Your data, including your CV, is stored securely and access is restricted to Walter Everett Ltd - we never sell your data.

Cookies

This website does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The only cookie set is a strictly necessary login cookie for our own admin system, used solely to keep an authorised admin signed in - it is never set for ordinary visitors browsing jobs or applying, and no consent banner is required for it under UK PECR.
